Teacher's Day - 2026
Teachers’ Day
Celebrations
On September 5, 2026, Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar,
celebrated Teachers’ Day with immense warmth, reverence, and enthusiasm during
its landmark Silver Jubilee year. The morning commenced with an auspicious Sanskrit
invocation and heartfelt opening reflections by student comperes who
highlighted the enduring impact of educators in nurturing curiosity and
building character. This was followed by a thoughtful presentation by Tanisha
and Charvi, exploring the deep significance
and relevance of Teachers’ Day, after which Vice-Principal Mr. Puneet Duggal
addressed the gathering, commending the mentors for guiding students by example
and providing the moral compass essential for the world beyond the classroom.
The celebration soon shifted into high gear with a seamless blend
of witty student segments and spirited entertainment designed to honor the
faculty. A recurring highlight of the morning was the three-part
"Teachers’ Titles" showcase, where students affectionately conferred
personalized titles upon their mentors, celebrating their familiar quirks and
distinctive personalities. Filled with soulful melodies, the
auditorium resonated with a moving musical tribute performed by students
Somnath, Vibhukant, and Shawn in honor of Teachers' Day. It was followed by an energetic round of "Teachers’
Antakshari" that brought spontaneous laughter, camaraderie, and spirited
vocal participation from the faculty.
The latter half of the programme paired introspection with
celebration, beginning with "Echoes in Verse"—featuring a poignant
self-composed Hindi poem titled ‘Jo Humein Humse Milate Hain’ by
Saburi—alongside a retrospective video montage capturing candid classroom
memories and warm student tributes. This was followed by an inspiring address
by Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav, who lauded the faculty's unwavering commitment
and emphasized the school’s vision of nurturing purposeful, empathetic
learners. The festivities culminated in a vibrant Grand Finale—a dynamic dance
performance held in the presence of all revered dignitaries—which lit up the
auditorium and left the teachers feeling cherished, celebrated, and deeply
appreciated.
