Is dissent an infringement of fundamental rights?

In this world and its countries,

Citizens are great in number and vary;

From culture, language, religion, nationalities

Or can differ in their thoughts, traits, views, and individuality.

Hence they can have different judgments on differing factors.

They may to each other dissent and demur, And until if no one had thought dissimilar,

Many new things would not be assumed and were left obscure.

Whether the saints of the Vedic era or fondly known Guru Nanak dev.

Advocated that one should try to be open to all opinions,

And subjected to the then social norms to open condemnation, they were enough brave.

Hence In history, they created examples of exceptions.

De facto, dissent and protest led us to independence,

People thought of freedom and expelling dominance,

Within three years after liberty from British governance,

The constitution came into action and principles of protest and dissent held a position of

eminence.

Article 19 provided the right to entitlement to disagreement,

Through this new perspectives are propagated; each with its own uniquement,

And we would not be imprisoned in general approach confinement,

Rather we would experiment and express our own judgment.

But still a number of challenges to this basic right prevail,

People's statements are being misconstrued on a large scale,

Through which the actual meaning behind the triggers get fail

To speak themselves and the motto of words is taken as sedition and the genuine cause

curtails.

Thus Measures should be taken to repeal existing laws and systems,

And we should let each other's wisdom blossom,

So that regulated criticism strives to find a way in this imperfect sphere to perfectionism,

So that people say their actual stance and by government, they should be welcomed,

And people use their analytical skills and critical thinking to find solutions to their problems.

TODAY’S RISING STARS

Today’s rising generation are the youngest adults, they have proven that age is nothing but just a number. At such young age the Youth of world is touching the skies through various platforms. In the times of covid the schools were closed, the children were not able to come to school but the school came to the children in the form of online education, online education had its own assets and liabilities, it gave an amazing platform for the youth to explore themselves and discover new things amongst them.  One of the young students named Gitanjali Rao, a 16-year-old girl with great talent and who had already been recognised with various laurels such as, the Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge in 2017 and was also recognized as Forbes 30 Under 30, she has since continued to help the world with her bewildering innovations to solve the issues such as addiction to opioids, the rise of cyberbullying, and limited access to potable drinking water. In 2020 Rao was named as the Time's top young innovator of 2020 for her innovations and "innovation workshops" she conducts across the globe and, on December 4, 2020, was featured on the cover of Time and named their first "Kid of the Year". Gitanjali Rao first published her book in 2015 at the surprising age of 10 years titled Baby Brother Wonders, a self-illustrated book which captures the curiosity of her younger brother. She has now mentored over 30,000 students through both online and offline modes to extinguish her flame to build a community which is filled with innovators. She is a true inspiration for the youth, she certainly proves that gender, age, skin colour or anything else matters if you have goal, if you have the will to do something, work hard and fight for it until you get it.

TRENDING TECHNOLOGY

(By Shaurya Pratap Singh, Class 9-A, Ahlcon International School, Delhi)

Technology is evolving day by day at rapid speed enabling us faster progress causing acceleration in technology and human development. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, whole world was connected to each other via internet and we learn contactless learning and work using interactive worksheet to make study and work interesting.

Here are 5 emerging technologies in 2022:

·         Artificial intelligence and machine learning

·         Quantum computing

·         Virtual reality

·         5G

·         Blockchain

Artificial intelligence and machine learning
Artificial intelligence and machine learning has already received lot of buzz from past few decade it will help in face recognition , navigation ,personal assistance and much more.  AI will further analyze interaction like in hospital  enabling customer behaviour for better medication

The AI market will grow to a $190 billion industry by 2025 with global spending on cognitive and AI systems reaching ove$57 billion in 2022.

5G
Next technology is 5G and everyone is aware of it as it will revolutionise the way we live. It will manage out 40% of mobile traffic by 2024. Alongside it will rely technology like VR and cloud-based service like Google stadia.

Virtual reality

The next exceptional technology trend - Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), and Extended Reality (ER). VR immerses the user in an environment while AR enhances their environment. Although this technology trend has primarily been used for gaming thus far, it has also been used for training, as with Virtual Ship, a simulation software used to train U.S. Navy, Army and Coast Guard ship captains.

Blockchain

Although most people think of blockchain technology in relation to cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, blockchain offers security that is useful in many other ways. In the simplest of terms, blockchain can be described as data you can only add to, not take away from, or change. Hence the term “chain” because you’re making a chain of data. Not being able to change the previous blocks is what makes it so secure. In addition, blockchains are consensus-driven, so no one entity can take control of the data. With blockchain, you don’t need a trusted third-party to oversee or validate transactions.

Quantum computing

Next remarkable technology trend is quantum computing, which is a form of computing that takes advantage of quantum phenomena like superposition and quantum entanglement. This amazing technology trend is also involved in preventing the spread of the coronavirus, and to develop potential vaccines, thanks to its ability to easily query, monitor and act on data, regardless of the source. Another field where quantum computing is finding applications is banking and finance, to manage credit risk, for high-frequency trading and fraud detection.

Although technology is emerging and evolving but these 5 technologies will trend and promise career potential creating successful opportunities in future

Mind-Blowing Science Facts

THEME: FUN FACTS

Are you finding it difficult to develop interest in science? Or are you looking to make the learning a lot more fun and involving?

We can help!

They’re all facts that would fascinate you and make you intrigued to learn more about science.

1.    The Sun is more than 3,00,000 (3 lakh) times larger than the size of the Earth, which means 1 million Earths could fit inside the sun.

2.    Space is absolutely silent as there’s no atmosphere for sound to travel through!

3.    It isn’t possible to walk on planets like Jupiter, Neptune, Saturn, or Uranus as they don’t have a solid surface! They’re mostly made up of different gases.

4.    The moon doesn’t emit any light of its own. The light from the sun’s rays bounces off the moon and reach the Earth in a matter of 1.25 seconds. This is how we get moonlight.

5.    No life form can survive if they were to enter a black hole, like the one at the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way. Even light can’t survive in a black hole.

6.    The reason the ocean has waves and has tides that switch from high to low is that the gravitational pull from the moon and the sun keep changing.

7.    Do you know what the highest mountain known to man is? If you said Mount Everest, you’re only partially correct. Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth, but the highest mountain known to man is present on an asteroid called Vesta and is 22km in height: thrice as big as Everest

8.    There are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on Earth.

9.    Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon in 1969.

Did you know that you can still see traces of his footprints on the moon’s surface? This is because there’s no wind on the moon, and so the footprints and tire tracks are still pretty intact!

Let’s go through some interesting scientific facts about the human body.

1.    Once you eat your food, it takes your body around 12 hours to fully digest it.

2.    Your brain contains around 100 billion nerve cells!

3.    Your heart beats around 1,00,000 (1 Lakh) times a day.

4.    The smallest bone in the human body is present in the middle part of the ear. It’s called the stirrup and is only 2.8 mm (millimeters) long.

5.    Your mouth produces about 1 litre of saliva per day!

6.    Human teeth are just as strong as shark teeth!

7.  According to scientists, the human nose can detect and recognize three trillion different scents!

8.    If spread out, the total surface area of adult lungs can be up to 75 square meters. This is the size of half a tennis court!

9.    If all the blood vessels in an adult’s body are laid out end to end, they will cover and circle the Earth’s equator four times!

10.  If all the DNA in the human body is uncoiled and put together, it would be about twice the diameter of our whole solar system.

11.  You won’t be able to taste food if it weren’t for saliva, because our taste buds can only detect the taste of food once it’s dissolved in a liquid!

Internet: Transcending technology

THEME – TRENDING TECHNOLOGY
(by Poorak Gupta -Class - IX-F)

“Our future success is directly proportional to our ability to understand, adopt and integrate new technology into our work.”

Nowadays, in this fast-paced world, humans are evolving, and inventing things way faster than it was expected and one such innovation is ‘Technology’. Due to COVID-19 world has seen IT sector growing immensely. Trending technology is the one which has become very popular recently or in a very short period of time. In my perspective IOT or Internet of Things is the one which has backed first position.

As you know Internet is everywhere, from browsing holiday destination to buying clothes, everything is related to it directly or indirectly. If we simplify ‘IOT’, it is Google. According to factual information, 5.6 billion searches per day are made only on Internet! The Internet of Things is the future, and has already enabled devices, home appliances, cars and much more to be connected to and exchange data over the Internet. As consumers, we're already using and benefitting from lOT, we can lock our doors remotely if we forget to when we leave for work and precool our rooms on our way home from work using air conditioner, all while tracking our fitness on our smartwatches. However, in my point of view business houses are only using a glass of technology in their work when they have a whole ocean of it. They can use it more prominently in their near future, whereas if we see, many companies have successfully used it and ripe great profits. Amazon is the best example alive. The lOT can enable better safety, efficiency and decision making for businesses as data is collected and analysed, we cannot even imagine a world without it in this modern era. County’s GDP would drop, unemployment ratio will get a hike, communication would be nearly impossible and IT industry would tragically end.

To sum up, I would like to say that, like water and air, technology or internet is inevitable from human life we should control the use of it till it is beneficial for our species

MY DEAR FRIEND

My dear friend a poem for you,

and flowers, cakes, cookies and hugs too.

I love to have someone with me,

who is always there when I need.

You taught me things and corrected me too,

You always manage to lift up my mood.

Annoying, crazy but you're the best,

Life with you is a big fest.

I love to have someone with me,

who is always there when I need.

Kind , caring and encouraging too,
I'm a partner who'll always stand by you.
we'll get old together and die too if it's fine,
I'll always hold your hand,
EVEN UNTIL THE END OF THE LINE......

Life as a lift

Life as a lift is pretty hard you see,

But sometimes it can fill you with glee,

Like your average human world, we are of many types,

But can gentrify your house, lifts are a hype.

Some of us are fireproof, some super-fast,

Some are really stunning, and some built to last

Like old trees, we have got stories,

But we take it to the next level, fill them with glory.

Approximately a million of us, welcoming you with open doors,

Except for healthy people who get off at the first floor.

And children who literally push our every button,

Destroying our efficiency all of a sudden.

We are found everywhere, from offices to homes,

We are as popular as small garden gnomes.

An array of people uses us to travel,

To them we are confidants, their secrets we may never unravel

Mom

In almost every language Mom starts with M,

Makes us believe she truly is a gem.

God couldn't be everywhere, so he made mothers,

But when he takes them away,

Makes us unbelievably angry, and truly flustered.

She provides unadulterated, unlimited love,

if God is a guiding hand, then she is the glove

nothing compares to one who keeps us fed,

The one who has eyes even on the back of her head.

Always looking out for us yet not leaving us a single clue.

Making us feel good, taking away are blues.

Someone who sees through all our tomfoolery,

Is the one who loves us fully

Unthinkable had happened, she has left the world she adored,

Leaving the brain scrambled and the heart torn.

No one knows how to move on,

When such a big part of our existence is gone.

Well, no need to worry,

As she took care of such quandary,

Because she will always support you,

Be wind beneath your wings,

Even though she wouldn’t be felt, like other material things.

A mother's love is as continuous as the flow of time,

She would take care of you, even if you whine,

Her benevolence beyond the mortal plane,

Like Hercules breaking Prometheus's chain.

Moms are great, they will love you forever,

Sometimes you may not like her, but she would do that never.

WHEN JOY RAINS

By Nishka Gupta 10th A

O! Lovely, lovely rain,

come to my balcony and drain,

It’s high time,

And to come is prime.

Let me dance joyfully,

With numerous tiny droplets over me,

Come to me, come to me.

I will make paper boats,

to give a ride to the toads.

I will enjoy mercilessly,

splashing water here and there,

wetting people senselessly.

Up with bloom the umbrellas,

Hiding under them some fellas,

Only if they had seen,

The season green,

The dancing teen,

They would know, they should go,

Out of their beds, out of their sheds,

To enjoy blissful shower,

To capture some moments in that hour.

A TREAT TO THE SOUL

By Arushi Tyagi 10th F

I couldn’t take my eyes off the serene sunset
after paying off all the pending debt,
cleaning the house and feeding my pet
after all, it was totally worth the sweat

I jumped in the air with glee,

and in that one little moment, i felt so free

my red dress portrayed a strong passion,

and wavy blonde hair with a contagious smile, never went out of fashion

Cotton candy clouds rolled in over the sky,

the vibes were magical enough to make me cry,

the chirping flock of birds soared high,

as if they were waving their last goodbye

Suddenly, life started making sense,

all my sorrows and pain vanished without prepense

to conquer the world, such was the desire,

all my emotions became as intense as fire

Taking delight in the euphoric view, i danced my heart out

felt so ineffably full of life i couldn’t shout

it was the best day of my life without a doubt

I had never been happier, the epiphany hit,

perhaps one day, i’d be fortunate enough to relive it
