Kriti Akriti
As the family of Ahlcon already knows
that it is one such school which keeps up with different kind of activities and
initiatives be it intra school or inter school. This time, on PTM day, the
teachers of art department decided to give birth to the initiative by providing
the first opportunity, where the students would sell hand – painted, self - decorated
pots.
It was a student-oriented program. Though
the preparations started only a few days prior, students were fully passionate
and determined to take it on. The combined efforts of students and teachers –
Rakesh Dubey sir, Rajeeb Roy sir, Mohit sir, and Ekta ma’am, were
involved. The students worked plenty of hours to nurture this project and painted
beautiful pots which included sculptures of terra cotta and paper mâché, under
the guidance and constant support of the teachers.
The name of
this initiative, Kriti Akriti, again reflected creativity.
On 25th
of March this event started in a fit of excitement. Students had the work divided
which involved financing, selling, packaging of the products.
Parents who
came for the PTM supported this initiative, gave valuable suggestions, many of
them embraced this event by buying the products.
Our respected principal Mr. Sanjay
Yadav and HM Senior Section Mr. Puneet Duggal too encouraged students by giving
words of appreciation and buying pots.
The day’s event that started from 8 a.m.
continued till 1 p.m. The first time, was a great success, leaving a lifelong
impact on students, and gave us motivation to make it better for further
occasions. Wrapping this up I would like to thank each, and every helping hand
lent out to us on behalf of the whole team.
