Our school hosted CBSE
Cluster XX Delhi Table Tennis Girls Tournament 2023 in our school. 107 schools
were participated in different categories and approx. 600 participants were
enthusiastically participated in the event from Delhi state. The tournament was
successfully conducted.

Selection Trials for Zonal
Basketball Team 2023-24
The selection trials for the Zonal Basketball Team were held with great enthusiasm and spirit at school basketball court. The trials aimed to identify and shortlist the most skilled and dedicated basketball players to represent our school at the zonal level competition. The trials witnessed an impressive turnout of talented students eager to showcase their basketball prowess. Total 150 students aprox participated in the trials.

Assessment Criteria:
The selection process was based on a combination of factors, including:
Proficiency in fundamental skills.
Tactical understanding of the game and court positioning.

Physical fitness and endurance.

International Yoga Day

‘Yoga is a philosophy of discipline and meditation that transforms the spirit and makes the individual a better person in thought, action, knowledge, and devotion.’
Ahlcon International School, unflinchingly believes in nurturing values to exemplify a disciplined life, so to lay this strong foundation of a disciplined life, on 21st June 2023, International Yoga Day was observed on school premises. As per the Ministry of AYUSH, ‘Har Aangan Yog’ is the domestic tagline of 2023. We reverberated this theme, which revolves around, 'Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.
This year, it was a weeklong event, aiming to spread awareness about the significance of yoga. More than 2000 students and 175 teaching and non-teaching staff, successfully participated in the series of Yoga activities such as yoga quizzes, pledges, and surveys about yoga, conducted under the flagship of the Ministry of AYUSH & MyGov. The children and the teachers received certificates of Commitment’ from ‘The Ministry of Ayush’.
Ms. Damini Bharadwaj, a renowned yoga instructor graced the occasion on 21st June, 2023. Around 100 participants bathed in the positivity of Yoga. During the event, an informative session was conducted and numerous Yoga postures such as Tadasan, Halasan, Markat-asan, etc. were demonstrated too. Memory boosting exercises for children were also performed. She also guided about the acupressure points to reduce body pain. The teachers, students, parents, and grandparents enthusiastically performed these yoga asanas.
The Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Vice-Principal Mr. Puneet Duggal, HMs, and AHMs, appreciated the zealous efforts of the participants towards a healthier tomorrow.
The camp aimed to provide an enriching and enjoyable experience for all participants while promoting personal growth, teamwork, and learning.
The summer coaching
program, “Fledglings” was held from 17th May 2023 to 3rd June 2023.The program
offered a variety of activities, i.e Basketball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Rifle
Shooting, Squash, Skating, Yoga, Dance and Theatre. In a total, 196 students
pursued the activities of their interest. The program was declared open by the
Vice-Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal. The children released the balloons and shown
their interest in participation in the program. The students and PE teacher/
coaches received their fledgling training T-Shirts. The Fledglings was conducted
under the guidance of Principal Sir Mr. Sanjay Yadav.
The coaching program culminated with the grand display of
Yoga, Dance and Theatre performance. The students shared their experiences of
fledglings journey with the dignitaries and audience.

ShandilyaHM Foundation Stage gave away the certificates to all the students for
their enthusiastic and energetic participation during summer break.
The summer camp successfully achieved its objectives of fostering personal growth, promoting teamwork, providing learning opportunities, and creating a safe and inclusive environment for campers. Despite some challenges, the campers had an enriching and enjoyable experience, developing valuable skills, forming friendships, and creating lasting memories. The camp served as a platform for personal and social development, encouraging campers to explore new horizons and build a strong foundation for their future endeavors.
In the end, Mr Satyendra Yadav (HOD, Physical Education) and Ms. Sangeeta Sahni (Camp coordinator) delivered the Vote of Thanks to all the dignitaries, parents and support staff and children for making the camp successful by their support and timely help.

Many many congratulations 🎉🎉🏹Archita Saxena of Class XII-E had participated in the 41st Delhi State Championship, Men & Women. It was Conducted from 26th Nov'21- 30th Nov'21
She participated in the Sub-Junior ( U17 ) Category in Recurve Girls and backed Bronze medal in Ranking Round and Bronze medal in Olympic ( Elimination ) Round. The Competition was Conducted on 14th November.
The Sub-Junior State competition was Pre-poned because The 38th NTPC Sub-Junior National Archery Championships 2021 were conducted from 21st Nov'21-30th Nov'21 in Amravati, Maharashtra
Archita Saxena of Class XII-E also qualified for the 38th NTPC Sub-Junior National Archery Championships 2021 through a trial which was conducted on 31st Oct'21. She went for her Competition from 21st Nov'21-24th Nov'21
The Competition was divided into Three Slots according to Category; Recurve, Compound and Indian respectively. She participated in the Recurve Girls Category.
There were over 20 teams participating and over 70 players in each category and gender from all over India.
