REPORT- APPRECIATION DAY 2026

"Achievement finds its true meaning when it is earned through perseverance, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to excellence." With this inspiring thought, the Secondary Stage of Ahlcon International School celebrated Appreciation Day on 3^rd August 2026 to honour the exemplary accomplishments of the students of Classes IX to XII for the Academic Session 2025–26. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the school's distinguished leadership- Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav; Vice Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal; HM Secondary Stage, Dr. Ekta K. Ratra, along with the HMs of the Middle, Preparatory and Foundation Stages. Proud parents of Class XII students also attended the event to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the award recipients.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a soulful invocation, creating an atmosphere of reverence and celebration. Following a warm welcome to the dignitaries, the Vice Principal, Mr Puneet Duggal in his welcome address, congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to remain lifelong learners. Setting a reverential tone for the occasion, Namya Shivhare captivated the audience with a heartfelt rendition of the Devi Stuti.

The ceremony celebrated excellence through a diverse range of award categories, each recognising a unique dimension of student accomplishment. The Commendable Award honoured students who secured 95% and above for their exceptional academic performance. The Subject Toppers Award recognised students who attained the highest distinction in individual disciplines. The Outstanding Award was presented to students scoring 90% and above, acknowledging their consistent dedication and scholastic merit. The Exemplary Achievement Award celebrated students who brought laurels to the school through outstanding accomplishments in co-curricular pursuits. The Ahlcon Ascent Award recognised learners whose remarkable progress reflected resilience, determination, and a commitment to continuous growth. The 100% Attendance Award applauded students whose impeccable attendance exemplified discipline, punctuality, and responsibility throughout the academic session. The prestigious All-Rounder Award was conferred upon Shubham Chaudhary (Class XII) for his exceptional excellence in academics, leadership, co-curricular activities, discipline, and values, truly embodying the spirit of holistic education.

In his inspiring address, Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav congratulated every award recipient and reminded the students that true excellence lies not merely in receiving accolades but in continuously striving to become better versions of themselves.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. Ekta K. Ratra, Headmistress (Secondary Stage), who expressed sincere gratitude to the management, dignitaries, parents, teachers, students, and support staff for their invaluable contribution in making the event a resounding success.

The celebration concluded on a joyous and inspiring note, leaving the everyone with a renewed belief that every achievement is a stepping stone towards greater aspirations and lifelong excellence.
