REPORT- TECHNASIA 7.0

Ahlcon International School fosters a culture of curiosity, creativity and innovation, inspiring young minds to challenge conventions, explore possibilities and translate imagination into purposeful solutions.

Reflecting this distinctive ethos, Technasia 7.0, the Seventh ATL Tinker Fest of Ahlcon International School, unfolded as an intellectually stimulating confluence of technology, ingenuity, creativity and youthful enterprise. The seven-edition journey of the fest continued with an eclectic blend of virtual and on-campus engagements- Neural Blitz, conducted online on 7 August 2026; Game Dev, an online competition; and five offline events culminating in the Valedictory Ceremony on 13 August 2026.

The distinguished gathering for the Valedictory Ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Mrittunjoy Guha Majumdar- quantum physicist, Adjunct Professor, National Institute of Advanced Studies - Bengaluru & Chair of the Quantum Information and Intelligence Systems (QulIS), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The esteemed Guests of Honour- Dr. V.C. Gaur, Founder & Director at Optimum Viking Satcom India Pvt. Limited; Dr. Peeyush Kamal- Assistant Professor (Educational Statistics), Educational Survey Division, NIE, NCERT; Mr. Vikul Soodan- Resource Person, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Delhi- further lent distinction to the occasion through their presence and expertise.

The school leadership, represented by Mr. Puneet Duggal, Vice Principal; Dr. Ekta K. Ratra, HM Secondary Stage; Ms. Sunanda S. Kumar, HM Middle Stage; Ms. Madhuri Dhadhich, HM Preparatory Stage; and Ms. Pooja Shandilya, HM Foundation Stage, extended their encouragement and support, reinforcing the institution’s unwavering commitment to nurturing inquiry, experimentation and excellence. A particularly gratifying moment for the Ahlcon fraternity was the homecoming of three accomplished alumni- Mr. Nilesh Aggarwal, Mr. Aditya Sharma and Mr. Gurvansh Singh, who returned to their alma mater as esteemed judges. Their evolution from students and participants to accomplished professionals and evaluators poignantly reflected the enduring legacy of an Ahlcon education.

The inaugural ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the illumination of knowledge and the triumph of wisdom over ignorance. Adding an aesthetic dimension to the technological extravaganza, the Classical Dance Performance forged a captivating dialogue between tradition and technology.

The gathering was further enriched by the address of Vice Principal Mr. Puneet Duggal, who urged students to cultivate intellectual curiosity, embrace challenges and approach innovation with discernment and purpose. The excitement reached a crescendo with the unveiling of the official Technasia 7.0 teaser, offering an intriguing preview of the ideas, experimentation, collaboration and technological exploration that lay ahead. The occasion was further illuminated by the thought-provoking address of Dr. Mrittunjoy Guha Majumdar, whose insights resonated with the central philosophy of Technasia.

The fest drew an impressive participation of 28 schools and over 150 participants, transforming the occasion into a vibrant confluence of ideas, perspectives and technological prowess. Extending the ambit of the fest beyond physical boundaries, the online competitions Neural Blitz and Game Dev enabled participants to engage with contemporary technological challenges and showcase their digital proficiency through virtual platforms. The offline competitions- Apex-Dash, Junk to Genius, Hyper Bots- Robo War, Hackathon and Robo Hurdle, challenged participants to conceptualise, construct, experiment and refine their ideas in real-world settings.

The much-anticipated Prize Distribution Ceremony brought the festivities to a celebratory horizons, with meritorious performances recognised under the categories of Praiseworthy, Outstanding and Excellent. The accolades celebrated not merely the finished products, but the perseverance, originality, technical finesse, ingenuity and collaborative endeavour that shaped them.

The successful culmination of Technasia 7.0 was warmly appreciated by HM Secondary Stage, Dr. Ekta K. Ratra, who commended the meticulous planning, sustained commitment and collective endeavour of the students, teachers, volunteers, organising team and participating schools. 

Technasia 7.0, thus transcended the conventional boundaries of a technological fest and became a celebration emboldened to envision and engineer the possibilities of tomorrow.
