REPORT- CULTURAL IMMERSION
Ahlcon International School has always played a
pivotal role in harmonizing cultural heritage with modern education, nurturing
not only intellectual growth but also an appreciation of India’s timeless
traditions. With its commitment to fostering holistic development, the school
continually seeks to amalgamate values of knowledge, art, and sustainability in
meaningful ways.
On 29th August,
the school hosted a memorable event, Cultural Immersion, graced by
distinguished dignitaries- illustrious Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh, an
eminent cultural philosopher, celebrated dancer, and former Member of
Parliament, Rajya Sabha; Guest of Honour, Dr. Rashmi Singh, IAS- Secretary,
Women and Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi. The occasion was
further honoured by the presence of the revered President Sir, Mr. Bikramjeet
Ahluwalia, President Ma’am Ms. Sudarshan Ahluwalia, Mr. Shobhit Uppal, Ms.
Rachna Uppal, Chairperson Dr. Rohini Ahluwalia, Principal Mr Sanjay Yadav, HMs,
teachers, Parents and students.
The programme commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting, followed by a spellbinding performance by Dr. Sonal Mansingh, whose dance presentations- Ganga Avtaran and Kevat Prasang, transported the audience into a realm of devotion and artistry. Her expression of culture as the “soul of humanity” left a lasting impression. The launch of the third edition of Gardenia, a distinctive ecological initiative of the school, a QR-coded, digitally enriched compendium, bridging tradition with technology, marked another highlight of the day.
In his address, Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav lauded the dignitaries for their esteemed presence and contributions, describing the event as an inspiring confluence of culture, education, and sustainability that would continue to influence young minds profoundly.
