Flagship Tech event of Ahlcon International School

  

Ahlcon International School hosted its flagship tech event, TECHNASIA-5.0 2024, an inter school STEAM event on Monday, 16th December 2024. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 150+ students from 20+ schools giving them a platform to showcase their talents, learn from each other, and expand their horizons. This event was a testament to the school's commitment to fostering innovation, autonomy, analytical abilities and research among children. Technasia 5.0 comprised seven events, with four online events conducted on 15th November 2024 and offline events conducted on 16th December 2024 with the Valedictory ceremony.

Event Overview:

Technasia 5.0 comprised seven events, catering to students from classes VI-XII. The events were divided into online and offline categories.

The online events included:

1. Sci-Snap

2. FUNdamental

3. Imagination Arena (Category-1 & 2)

4. Hack-a-thon

The offline events comprised:

1. Robo Soccer

2. Robo Hurdle

3. Nexus of Creations

The events aimed to encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and research among participants. By participating in various events, students had the opportunity to learn from each other, receive feedback from experts, and refine their skills. On 16th December 2024, Technasia-5.0 started with the Opening ceremony beginning with lamp lighting and shloka recitation followed by marvelous classical dance performance, trailer launch and address by respected Principal Sir, Mr. Sanjay Yadav.  

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Madhu Phull (Retired Scientist - NCSTC and DST, Director Academics, Creative Thinkers Foundation, Delhi) as Chief guest, Dr. Meena Yadav (Professor, Department of Zoology, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi) as Guest of honour, Dr. Rishi Kumar (Associate Professor, Department of Biosciences, IMS Ghaziabad) as Guest of honour, who were also the judges for nexus of creations and Mr. Atul Shekhar and Mr. Anirudh Sharda (Founders, Unnati Learning Solutions), as judges for robo soccer and robo hurdle respectively.

The event kicked off with a thrilling inter-school Robo-Soccer, Robo-Hurdle and Nexus of Creations event. Robo soccer challenges participants to create robots that can navigate a specialized arena for robotic soccer matches, involving three rounds. Robo hurdle involved an exciting robotics showdown where autonomous or semi-autonomous robots go head-to-head in a race across a wild, obstacle-packed course. Nexus of creations involved a thrilling showcase that celebrates groundbreaking scientific research and cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of innovation. The event witnessed amazing and active participation for all events, followed by the Valedictory ceremony, which highlighted a captivating video showcasing the glimpses of Technasia-5.0 to celebrate the technological exploration and innovation. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour (s) shared their impressions with the participants. The event culminated in a prestigious award ceremony, where the school students were awarded, prizes based on three categories - outstanding, excellent and praiseworthy performances.

The organizers, core committee, judges, and participants alike praised the event for its seamless execution, engaging activities, and valuable learning experiences. With its successful execution, Technasia 5.0 has set a benchmark for future events, and Ahlcon International School looks forward to continuing its efforts to nurture young innovators. The engaging competitions, inspiring inauguration, and heartwarming award ceremony made it a truly memorable experience for all participants.
