Educators’ Summit 2024
Ahlcon International
School, Mayur Vihar, proudly hosted the Educators’ Summit 2024, themed Viksit
Bharat@2047, as part of the 9th Ahlcon International SDG Fest on September
28, 2024. Building on the success of the 2023 Educators' Summit, which focused
on the G20 theme, this prestigious event brought together educators from both
national and international platforms.
The summit began with an
inspiring opening ceremony, featuring the traditional lamp-lighting ritual followed
by a keynote address by the Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav. The event was graced
by eminent dignitaries, including Mr. Samarth Pathak, Communications Head
(South Asia) UNODC; Mr. Chandan Jha,
Mentor Teacher with the DOE, GNCT Delhi; and Mr. Amritanshu Pandey, Director
Strategy, Brhat, a culture engine, and a published
author.
A cultural highlight was
the captivating Nrityadhwani dance performance, adding vibrancy to the
event. Dr. Sumedha Sodhi introduced the Learning Support Platform (LSP) of the
M-Star School Expert System, developed by Hitachi MGRM Net.
The summit featured two
committees, each in line with the theme of Viksit Bharat, led by
Executive Board members Mr. Chandan Jha and Mr. Amritanshu Pandey.
The event concluded with an elegant Closing Ceremony, presided over by Dr. Ashok Pandey, Director of Ahlcon Group of Schools. A standout moment was the thought-provoking Panel Discussion titled “Shaping the Future of Education: Schools and Teachers in the Age of Innovation,” moderated by Vice-Principal Mr. Puneet Duggal. The panel featured distinguished speakers including Dr. Satya Bhushan, Assistant Professor (Statistics) International Relations Division, NCERT and the Chief Guest of the ceremony; Mr. Sanjay Yadav; Mr. Chandan Jha; and Mr. Amritanshu Pandey.
The summit culminated in a felicitation ceremony, recognizing the remarkable contributions of the committee delegates. The event reinforced the crucial role educators play as custodians of knowledge, catalysts for innovation, and torchbearers of progress.
