AHLCONINTL MUN 2024

Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar hosted the AHLCONINTL MUN 2024 on July 13-14, 2024, under the theme "Swasmai Swalpam Samajaya Sarwasvam" (A Little for Self, Everything for Society). The event featured four committees: the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Citizens Dialogue, and the All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), along with the International Press, each presided over by esteemed Executive Board members. Over 170 students enthusiastically participated in the event.

Day 1 began with the opening ceremony with a warm welcome address by Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Vice-Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal and Dr. Ekta K. Ratra, Head, Secondary Stage, followed by an engaging trailer of the event, the Vice Principal and Principal’s address, and the official opening of the conference by Secretary-General Shabih Fatima. The entire day, the delegates participated in various sessions, including moderated and unmoderated caucuses, crises, press conferences, and private sessions. 

Day 2 resumed with committee sessions, culminating in the closing ceremony where winners were felicitated with Best Delegate, High Commendation, and Special Mention awards. Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav delivered an inspiring address, followed by a vote of thanks from Deputy Secretary General Ajit Singh, and the closing of the conference by Secretary-General Shabih Fatima. AhlconintlMUN 2024 was a resounding success, providing a platform for young minds to engage in meaningful discourse on global and national issues, and fostering a deeper understanding of diplomacy and international relations.
