International School, Mayur Vihar organized the Investiture Ceremony on 10th
May 2024. The ceremony started with the music
of the propulsive beat of the drums. The event was graced by venerated Chief
Guest retired Major General Pramod Saigal, Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Vice
Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal, Section Heads and esteemed parents. The
mellifluous school song exhibiting pride in their alma mater reverberated in
the hearts of the Ahlconites. The Ahlcon
torchbearers comprising of humble House appointees and Council members were
accorded a special welcome.
School Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav administered the oath to the proud council and house appointees. In his address to the Council, he expressed his pride in witnessing the crescendo of their journey. He encouraged them to bear the baton with honesty and utmost pride.
The newly appointed President, Student Council, Saanchi Grover gave her first acceptance speech with utmost dynamism and humility. Vice-Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal complimented the students for their hard work and sincerity and advised them to take the responsibilities to new heights. Chief Guest, Retired Major General Pramod Saigal congratulated the newly appointed council and motivated them to fulfill their responsibility earnestly. To bring a befitting culmination to the ceremony, an earnest vote of thanks was accorded by the Vice President Ajit Singh Bedi. Sports Captain, Nia Bansal gave her first command for the National Anthem. The event surely marked as a red letter day in Ahlcon’s calendar would be cherished by one and all.
