Rabindranath Tagore Poem Enactment - “Unveiling the Legacy”

On 163rd Rabindranath Tagore’s Jayanti, Ahlcon International School, Secondary Stage organized an Inter-House Competition centered around the enactment of poems by Rabindranath Tagore, one of India's most revered poets and literary figures, on the theme, ‘Unveiling Tagore’s legacy’. A prolific writer, poet, playwright, philosopher, and composer, Tagore's oeuvre spans various genres, including poetry, fiction, essays, and songs. 

Inter-House competition aimed at appreciating the essence of his poetry, the depth of his philosophy, and the beauty of his music in students' performances and artistic expressions. The Inter-House Competition was attended by esteemed Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Head Secondary Stage, Dr. Ekta K. Ratra, judges, teachers, and students of classes IX & X. 

The tone of the competition was set by our Art Department as Mr. Sunil Agrahari’s poem recitation and Ms. Solani Chopra’s enactment mesmerized the audience. The competition featured enthusiastic participation from students across different houses, each bringing their unique interpretation and performance of Tagore's poems to the stage. 

Prithvi House bagged the Award for Excellence, Vayu House was awarded Outstanding Performance, and Neer House & Agni House won the award for Merit.  Inter-House Competition on Rabindranath Tagore's poem enactment was a resounding success.  Through their heartfelt performances, participants honoured Tagore's legacy while demonstrating the power of literature to inspire and educate posterity.
