Beyond Teaching: Living in Excellence

 Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar under the aegis of National Progressive Schools Conference and in collaboration with Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, Noida hosted the eighth edition of ‘Beyond Teaching: Living in Excellence’. The session blossomed into the most enlightened session for more than 120 participant teachers from NPSC schools across Delhi and NCR. 

The eighth edition of ‘Beyond Teaching: Living in Excellence’ was conducted by His Holiness Swami Chidrupanandaji, Acharya of Chinmaya Mission Noida on 27th April 2024 and was attended by a galaxy of distinguished leaders, Director, Ahlcon Group of Schools, Dr Ashok Pandey, Principal, Ahlcon International School, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Vice-Principal Mr Puneet Duggal, HMs and teachers from Delhi-NCR.

The programme commenced with the lamp-lighting and an invocation. Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav extended a warm welcome to the august gathering and related the concept of being a teacher and a guru through a beautiful analogical poem.

The session began with a prayer for the well-being of the entire humanity. Swami Chidrupanandaji emphasised integrating spiritual wisdom with professional and personal life to achieve holistic success and fulfilment. He enunciated the seventh shloka from the third chapter of the Bhagavad Gita and guided the participants to understand the significance of controlling their knowledge senses (indriyas) with the (mind) Sankalp Shakti. He shared an eight-formula integration to achieve the pinnacle of living a life of excellence. Swami Chidrupanandaji acknowledged the challenges faced by teachers in their profession and offered practical advice for overcoming obstacles with discipline and optimism.

The session concluded with a meditative video. The session was inspiring and empowered the participants to cultivate an attitude of excellence in all aspects of their teaching journey.
