“Whoever teaches learns in the act of teaching
and whoever learns teaches in the act of learning".
An Awards Ceremony is the
perfect occasion for felicitation and acknowledgment of the education leaders
as well as celebrating the milestones and individual achievements accomplished
by them. To celebrate the unique contribution of some of the finest teachers in
the institution and to honour them for their unrivalled commitment, the Pre-Primary department, of Ahlcon International School hosted an Award Ceremony on 3rd September’2022. To
felicitate and recognize teachers for their hard work, and for their
never-ending commitment beyond their regular duty, the School has been
organising its most esteemed ceremonial day every year.
The dignitaries to embellish

Yadav; HM Senior Section- Mr. Puneet
Duggal; HM Middle Section- Ms.
Sunita Rajiv; HM Primary Section- Ms.
Kavita Shah; AHM Primary Section- Ms.
Shipra Srivastava; AHM Pre-Primary Section- Ms Pooja Shandilya and Admin Officer- Mr. Gaurav Sharma.
The grand felicitation ceremony began with a mellifluous invocation by
the school choir and seeking the blessings of Almighty. This was followed by
categorically announcing the names of all the winners. The first category to
start was; The Rising Star Award which was bagged by Ms. Nidhi Tiwari from
Pre-Primary, Ms. Naina Malik from Primary Section and Ms. Renu Arora from the
Senior Section for their meticulous efforts and dedication. The winners of the
Co-Scholastic Award Category were Mr. Narendra Singh from Primary Section, Mr.
Mohit Kashyap from Middle Section and Mr. Rakesh Ranjan Dubey from Senior
Section for enriching the lives of students and developing their passion for
Arts and Sculpture.
The next category of the award, ‘The Digital Empowerer of the Year’, was
aimed at recognizing and applauding the preparedness of teachers who swiftly
adapted to the challenges of online learning and made technology their wings
during the pandemic. For their outstanding contribution in the field of
technology, Ms. Tina Chopra from Pre-Primary Section, Ms. Pushpa Tiwari from
Primary Section and from Middle Section, Ms. Tarannum Bhasin became the
respective winners of this category.
All those teachers who through their innovative teaching practices and
their constant endeavours made learning a joyful and enriching experience for
their students were felicitated with the Best Class Teacher Award Category.
From Pre-Primary Section Ms. Tanu Mathur and Ms. Deepti Chopra won this award.
The winner of this category from the Primary Section was Ms. Prabha Rawat and from
Senior Section, Ms. Raina Jain meritoriously made her way to this award.
For the integral role of teachers in inspiring and encouraging students
by defying all odds, teachers were conferred with the ‘Special Commendation
Award’- Ms. Ananya Sil from Primary Section and Dr. Nirupama Sharma from Middle
Section were the proud winners of this award.
In his welcome speech, Principal,
Mr. Sanjay Yadav extended his heartiest wishes to all the winners. He even
congratulated them for their exemplary work and for creating effective teaching
and learning environment for all their learners especially during the most
challenging time. This was pursued by a musical rendition by the music
department of the school. Musical Jugalbandi between the two music maestros
enthralled the audiences. They were also swept up by the charm and charisma
added by our singing sensation, Ms. Ananya.
‘An ode to the Teachers – a video presentation’ added an extra dose of
euphoria to the whole ceremony. Apart from this the icing on the cake was the Selfie
corner and the winner props which took everyone by surprise. It not only gave
another chance to all the invitees to recreate some more magical moments together
but it also reverberated that every teacher is a winner in some way or the
other. Touching and impacting the lives of their learners is the most precious
award they can ever receive.
A bouquet presentation was also bestowed on our CBSE Awardee, Ms. Sunanda S. Kumar who has received
the CBSE Honour for Excellence Award
in Teaching and School Leadership 2021-22 for her outstanding contribution to
enhancing the quality of teaching and learning.
Becoming Teacher of the Year is something many teachers dream of. The
award provides validation for years of hard work and sacrifice for their
teaching profession. This year the title, ‘Teacher
of The Year Award’ was awarded to Ms.
Vinita Dadlani from Pre-Primary for her tremendous contribution, perseverance
and dedication towards the institution and her profession over the last two
decades. The teacher from Senior Section to win this reputed award was Ms. Rashmi Joshi for her integral role
in inspiring and encouraging students and shaping them into informed and
responsible citizenships.
