As a part of the literary week, Ahlcon International School organised an inter-house competition ‘Reliving Ramayana’ on 24th June 2021 from 1:30-2:30pm on Teams App conducted by Neer House senior section,. It was graced by the presence of esteemed Guest of Honour Mrs. Shradha Pandey, Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Headmaster Senior School Mr. Puneet Duggal and other AHMs. Mr. Rajeev Lochan and Mr. Manoj Lila Bhatt, both prolific theatre artists, were the learned jury members of the competition.

The competition 'Reliving Ramayana' was an endeavour to encourage the audience to think of the relevance of the great epic Ramayana in the modern day. Participants from all four houses represented one character each and showcased their role in the ancient as well as modern context. In this way, Rama, Sita, Hanuman and Ravan were portrayed expressively and beautifully by the participants. These performances were followed by a rendition of devotional songs 'bhajans' on guitar, followed by another one on harmonium, combined with the melodious voice of the student. 

Guest of Honour, Mrs. Shradha Pandey addressed the virtual gathering and kept the audience intrigued by narrating various knowledgeable episodes from the Ramayana. The judges also expressed delight on seeing the performances and shared their valuable thoughts with everyone else. Finally, the much awaited results were announced by the Principal, who also congratulated all the teachers for  organizing  such a unique competition. The compere’s and participants received much praise for their performances from Headmaster Senior School as well as the other dignitaries. It was an enlightening day at Ahlcon!.

24th June 2021, the third day of the celebration, embarked upon another fun-filled literary expedition through the quiz titled 'Pottermania' on the Kahoot platform for classes IX and X. Such activities are an integral part of the literary week as the school reiterates through them that the true knowledge and enlightenment can be found amidst literature and books. This activity brought the students closer to the world of 'Harry Potter' with questions based on it's dialogues, characters, plots and magic.

The eventful day was aptly constructed for the students that led to a zesty celebration of the literary week. The day was embellished with the great scores earned which highlighted the profound knowledge of the sprightful students of Senior Section.
