From 23rd June to 24th
June, German
learners of class IX and X performed a German activity, in which students designed
creatively an E-Book Cover on the topic “Mein Lieblibgsbuch” (My favorite book). The German enthusiasts designed the cover
page of their favorite book and briefed a very short text describing about the book in German. All the
presentations shown were outstanding, as every cover was different with a
different reason of loving the book.
Students used
different apps and showcased their creativity in the best possible way. By seeing
such beautiful and fascinating book covers and listening
to the book reviews of everyone, one really felt like reading all those books.
It helped all the students to develop their creativity and
presentation skills. Students learnt new vocabulary and enhanced their reading,
writing and creative thinking skills.
Apart from showcasing the creativity, students also got a chance to remember the books which they had almost forgotten by authors like Roald Dahl, J.K. Rowling and many more. They even got a chance to discover many uprising authors like Pranjal Kaushal. Having such activities even in online mode of school are very interesting as students get to know new things, develop new ways to work online and develop the IT skills.
