Books are a person’s best friend. For students they are the heaven of knowledge and wisdom.  To celebrate the most important asset of students’ life Ahlcon International School is celebrating Book and Literary Week from June 22, 2021 to June 25, 2021. Inauguration ceremony took place on the very first day and the event was set open with the lamp lighting ceremony. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Jyoti Kohli, a lecturer at M.V. College of Education, University of Delhi since its inception in 1995, Dr. Ashok Pandey Director, Ahlcon Group of Schools and Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Principal Ahlcon International School. The ceremony was embellished with an event “The Devil’s Advocate: The Turncoat Debate.” Judges for the event were Ms. Mudita Singh, a senior English Language teacher of Ahlcon Public School and Mr. Dhruvit Gupta, alumni Ahlcon International School. The winner of the event is Snehal Thakur XII F "Prathvi House". Honourable guest, Dr. Jyoti Kohli was mesmerised by the way in which all the participants presented their thoughts. Dr. Ashok Pandey praised all the competitors and Mr. Sanjay Yadav finally announced the results. Snehal Thakur of Prithvi House bagged the first position. The event concluded by extending the heartiest gratitude to all the guests present at the event.
