Behes - A Debating Forum

We at Ahlcon International School are known for nurturing the roots of the Ahlconites, by providing them with opportunities and platforms for their holistic development. November 2022 brought such a golden opportunity for the budding orators as they participated in Behes East Delhi Round - a debate competition organized by ‘Behes Organization’, India’s largest debating platform.

All in all, it included two power-packed days comprising eight rounds of spontaneous debating. On day one, 5^th November 2022, three rounds took place wherein 73 teams and 219 debtors participated. Around 55 teams participated from Ahlcon International School. On day two, 6^th November, a total of 16 teams in the Cubs category and 32 teams in the Lions category qualified for the National level Mahabehes. The trophy for Best speakers Cubs and Lions category was awarded to Tejas Arora and Ananya Verma from Ahlcon International School. Cubs Champions were a team from Ahlcon International School. The school also bagged the runners-up trophy for Lions Category. Pathways School, Noida bagged the Champions trophy for the first position.

 The day ended on a positive note with even wild card entries for Mahabehes.

  Overall, it was a very enriching and exciting experience cherished by all the participants.
